A week from today is MISS CT TEEN USA, and I couldn’t be more ready and excited. I have been preparing for months to rock the stage. Ways in which I’ve done this has been meeting weekely with my coach, practicing everyday by myself, and working on my mental game. Preparation is only half the battle though! I plan to leave everything out on the stage! Whether you are preparing for tryouts, a test in school, or maybe even a pageant like I am, with the right preparation you can accomplish all your goals. It takes time leading up to the event, and mental game is a big part of the preparation. Being able to not compare your self to others is the biggest aspect. We are all individual in our own ways and being confident in our own skin is very important. Realizing that we were able to accomplish anything will help us to complete the given task. In preparation for my pageant next weekend I spent a lot of time reflecting on myself and realizing that although I may be 14 years old I am able to accomplish just as much as any of my fellow competitors who are all older than me. I did this by making sure I had all the right tools. These tools came from constant pageant prep and simply believing in myself. I am beyond ready to show Connecticut what Eva Klemyk can do!
