Food is Fuel

What we eat matters! Food is one of the most important ways to fuel our body, and if we choose the right foods, we are able to ensure we are the best versions of ourselves!

- Work fruits and vegetables into your daily routine. I try and have at least one salad and/ or vegetable/fruit a day. - Snacks are my favorite, and are so tempting to have at all hours of the day. What makes it easier to have healthy snacks like fruits and vegetables is to keep everything pre-cut and ready-to-go in your fridge. I also love yogurt and granola.

- Protein is also the key to a healthy lifestyle, such as fish, eggs, beans, nuts, and lean meat.

A healthy diet provides the body with essential nutrients and helps maintain overall health. Eating healthy can taste amazing too! Pinterest has been a life savor. I have found hundreds of amazing recipe ideas! Eating healthy has never tasted so good! I challenge everyone. The next time you want a snack, put down the chips and try something more organic!
